In Literacy the children have been learning about India. We looked at information books and watch clips about India too. We found out that India is the same shape as an elephants ear on a map. We learnt all about the weather in India how it can be hot, windy and raining too. We found out that India is very busy and that they wash their clothes in a river and carry water on their head.
Ask your child to tell you some facts about India and ask what is a monsoon? The children have worked really hard last week and I am very impressed with how much they have remembered and I look forward to learning a little more in the next few weeks as we continue our journey to India.
